Crystal receiver
In wooden case with metal handle and lid, lined with burgundy leatherette. The front is made of marbled ebonite. Binding posts for antenna and earth are on the left; on the right are the binding posts for the earphone (500 ohms). Top center is the crystal, below the crystal are the tuning knobs with polished nickle plated contacts for long wave (Grandes Ondes, left) and medium wave (Petites Ondes).
Tuning ranges are 150-450 and 430-1800 meters.
The original price was Fr 99,- (without crystal and earphone). The receiver was also released by Radio-Plait as "Pocket Radio".
Putting a date on a crystal receiver is always a bit tricky. It is certain that the receiver was sold from 1925 until 1931, but a later date is possible as well.
