Superheterodyne receiver
Made of chestnut coloured plastic with semi-circular plexiglass scale, plexiglass ornaments and transparant plastic knobs. A scale lamp (19V / 97mA, Philips 8097D) illuminates the scale, the Radiola logo and one of the the small wavelength windows. The radio is equipped with a ferroceptor. The 5 ohm loudspeaker has a diameter of 12 cm.

For reception of medium wave (200-550 meters), long wave (1100-2000 meters) and short wave (20-50 meters).
Model "Luxe"  is made of ivory coloured plastic (see picture on the right). The radio was also released by Philips as BF213U.
