Superheterodyne radio
In dark brown Bakelite cabinet with cream coloured plastic tuning scale surround and five plastic "tortoiseshell" push buttons.
With press-button tuning for three stations, and press-button wavelenght changing. In early versions the three pre-set stations were all for medium wave operation, but in later versions one of them covered the long wave band (BBC Light Programme).
With medium wave (191-560 meters) and long wave (845-2070 meters).
On left side is the on/off/volume control knob and on the right the tuning knob, made of cream coloured plastic.
The radio has a built-in frame aerial.
