medium wave operation, but in later versions one
of them covered the long wave band (BBC Light

Export
models were made with medium wave and three
short wave bands. These radios do not have
press-button tuning. The first push button is
used to switch the radio on and off; the other
buttons are used to select the wave bands.

was introduced in January 1950. The price was £14 16s;
reduced later to £13 19s 8d. |
