What was broadcast in

His Dance Orchestra,
recorded in 1928.
Back, before restoration
The AC mains section of the
receiver can be seen on the right. It shows a Philips 451
mercury vapour-filled rectifier that does not belong there. The
right tube is a 373
rectifier. A Ferrrix filament transformer can be seen
behind the C142 valve. This is a strange addition, because the
filament windings of the original transformer were undamaged. A
home made Bekius variometer for inductive coupling is hidden behind the
cardboard cover.
Back, after restoration
The extra filament transformer was removed and
some of the wiring was replaced.
