Superheterodyne receiver
The radio has short wave (15-53 meters), medium wave (174-575 meters) and long wave (970-2030 meters) Veneered cabinet. Glass dial with scale lamps below the knobs. The radio is the cheapest model of a series, designed for the year 1950 (KY505, KY506, KY507, KY508 and KY509 were the other models). The loudspeaker has a date stamp of February 1951.
Knobs on the front and on the sides have the following functions: Front left: on/off, volume; front right: tuning; side left: tone control; side right: waveband switch.
The radio can be used with the following voltages: 110, 125, 150, 200, 220 en 250 Volts.
