With a split circular dial
surrounding the speaker and an anodised copper "Willow
Tree" design grille, double pointer, in architectural
mahogany coloured Bakelite case in the Art Deco
"Odeon-front" style, with sloped stepped fringe and
out-swept sides with carry pockets (the
radio is quite heavy: 17,7 lb),
twin knob and switch control to the front. An early
example of a mass-produced mains table wireless. |
