Superheterodyne radio

With four valves and a rectifying valve. The casing is made of dark brown bakelite, with plenty of curves. The curves return in the grill in front of the loudspeaker cloth and in the celluloid in front of the tuning scale. The celluloid is very fragile in this place. It is often wrinkled or missing. Sometimes the celluloid has yellowed, in this case it has shrunk a little bit. The sets were also available painted green or ivory white. The radio has three wavelengths: medium (193 - 575 m.), long (800 - 2100 m.) and short (16 - 52 m.). The back panel is fitted with an internal antenna. The original price was £ 18,-.
