Superheterodyne receiver
Integrated radio and adjustable frame antenna in ivory white plastic cabinet. The radio chassis is included in the base, the illuminated tuning scale, the frame antenna and the loudspeaker (diameter 17 cm) are situated in the upper segment. For reception on medium wave, long wave and two short wave bands. In the sides are connections for a pick-up (right) and a loudspeaker (left).
The tuning knob is situated in the middle of the scale. Below the tuning knob is the volume control knob designed as a thumb wheel, left underneath is the on/off switch + equalizer in four steps and on the right the wavelength switch.
The intermediate frequency is 455 kHz.
The radio was presented by Célard as a futuristic model (the radio was five years ahead of it time, the ads claimed), but the consumers did not appear to like it, and sales were disappointing. The radio was made in the colours ivory white, light green and maroon. It was also made as Manufrance model 30-222.
The original price was 29.800 FFr.
