nickel plated
support can be folded and stored in the lid. |

The record is screwed on the little
turntable. |
The reproducer ("sound box") has a mica
diaphragm. The first models had an octagonal reproducer.
The unit shown here (with a round reproducer) was made specially for
the bookstore of W.H. Smith &
Son, Paris. |
The gramophone was made in France. They
were also manufactured under licence in Switzerland and
in the United States (as "Min-U-Phone").
